Malone was a lifelong resident of Washington County and the Bristol area. She was a member of Three Springs Baptist Church and for many years served as director of the church nursery. Surviving are her husband, Rhamey Malone; one son, Wallace Malone, Bristol; three brothers, Glenn Davis, Marshall Davis, and Flave C. Davis, all of Bristol; two sisters, Mrs. Claude Dixon, of Bristol, and Mrs.
