Will we ever get more housing plots? If so when do you think we will see it?
There's some plots that we as a FC has been looking to get, but they'er all taken, so when/if more plots are available we'll be able to use the saved gil to buy the main plot we are looking at, when do you guys think we'll see more wards/subdivisions? below is an idea I posted before.

Balmung is in desperate need for more housing Wards. I think your idea has merit and would like to see something similar implemented, especially if there is a need in the main story in the future (There might be... might not, but we don't know) for a FC to have a FC house.
One thing I would raise... is that if someone is in a FC with a house, they shouldn't be allowed to have a personal house (I've seen people /shouting for selling multiple plots of land in different areas/wards) as they already have access to personal quarters etc. That if you do have a personal house and then join a FC, you should be given the option of returning your plot (compensated some of the value you spent on it of course) so that another person or FC might be able to purchase.

@Arielyanna I don't agree about the if your in a FC with a house you shouldn't be allowed to buy a house, because some people uses FC/personal house merchants to buy their mats, catalysts and dyes from, but some FC's has a small house and can't cover all the merchants that someone may use/need, thats why I think they just need to add more wards/subdivisions in stead of removing houses of other players or restricting players from buying a house if in a FC, besides if a person leaves a FC or gets kicked out due to the leader/officers turns out to be a***s then they wouldn't have a place to call home, but I have seen quite a few post about Balmung needing more wards, I think with the sub payments and cash shop sells they should be able to afford to spend some on more servers for housing.

It will probably be a bit after the expansion. The devs likely have way too much on their table to be concerned about housing. For awhile it was getting addressed nearly every other patch, yet even if they double the wards again there will still be people on here pouting after it sells out (Most will be from Balmung). I would much rather see them get the expansion out then spend any more time/resources on casual/optional content prior to Heavensward.
Your suggestions of "Just add more plots" which has been asked and will continue to be asked countless times just isn't realistic at the time.

Apparently they think they've fulfilled the need for housing. So I guess this is their way of telling people on high population servers to pony up the $18 to go to a low pop server if they want a house.
We demand houses for everyone! Even if it's low cost government funded project housing that is instanced! We're adventurers come to save your land! Don't treat us like beastmen!!

I've just been thinking about this today... Finally (after more than one and a half year now) I can say I'm close to buying a medium plot in my hometown (LL) I've been saving up for since the day of launch. The problem? Well, on Shiva...
Mist:
- Large (41230k): 3
- Medium (17670k): 1
Lavender Beds:- Large (52360k): 1
- Large (41230k): 10
- Medium (28992k): 1
- Medium (16740k): 2
- Medium (15810k): 2
Goblet:- Large (41230k): 9
- Large (36890k): 11
- Medium (24456k): 1
- Medium (18600k): 7
- Medium (17670k): 9
- Medium (16740k): 5
- Medium (15810k): 8
- Medium (14880k): 11
...as of now. No small plots at all (and I know many people want one; a lot of FCs in small houses, quite a few players in medium and some even in large ones). That's 81 free plots, 5% of which in Mist, 75% in Goblet; 42% large, 58% medium. In short, it's just extremely f××××× up, in more ways than one.But hey, at least seasonal events have been shifting more and more to giving housing items as rewards. /thumbsup

I really dont understand why they have such server and space problems with this game. Are they using ancient servers or something? We live in a time where there are free services out there with unlimited space for pictures, videos, texts, etc. Why they decided to structure housing as individual neighborhood entities that are 'live' even when no one is in them is beyond me. Last time this happened was during LotRO but even then it wasnt this bad, and that game is almost as old as WoW.

I'm too lazy to dig up the actual post but they already responded, saying that further housing capacity is not on their radar for the foreseeable future.

which is really quite unacceptable in 2015.Quote:

no game of today should be developed with such small limitations...and if one is mistakenly done so...then it needs to be fixed, upgraded,adjusted..what ever it takes to ensure the playerbase space demand is met at a very very fast pace.
Now we do own a FC home and some have personal homes along with that...so im not stating this because I don't have one.
Im stating this because it really is a bit laughable they have yet to vastly upgrade to accommodate their player base (not just in homes but item limit that should be eliminated totally for housing)
Housing IS content and is equally important as any other, from dungeons, to a raid, to a vanity piece of gear or the next game added to the golden saucer....the next story quest...all is content.
I feel very bad for those limited only by the non existence of homes to buy (the cost is still silly, but availability is just as bad)
I hope they do realize that restricting ppl for toooo long will not end well for the game.02-28-2015, 01:54 AM

I was pretty disappointed, but the game is bigger than housing. I'm pretty happy with some of the other things in the game and that SE has done. As long as the positives outweigh the negatives, I'll stay subbed.Quote:

Hm. That said, they've also said they're going to add more gameplay mechanics to houses. So this comparatively minor negative point could, potentially, become a larger one in the future.
